saembit/n8n-nodes-jeff

Ready-made Jev decisions for n8n workflows.

Automated README summary

Automatically summarized from the README on 23 Oct 2026; not a run by jevbooks. Run instructions and author-reported outcomes still need verification.

What it is

An unofficial n8n community node that ships prebuilt Jev decisions — Rank, Triage, Guard, Match, Verify and a raw Ask — so workflow builders can branch on calibrated probabilities instead of generated text.

How it uses Jev

Each operation builds typed Jev questions over the item state (items and dimensions for Rank, message and categories for Triage, text and thresholds for Guard, two records for Match, claim and source for Verify) and sends them via nodes/Jeff/shared/transport.ts. The returned probabilities are shaped into a jeff field with thresholds deciding the branch.

Primitives:choicescore

Technique worth stealing

Ship prewritten questions and thresholds per decision so users drop the node in and branch on probabilities, keeping weights and thresholds in code.

Try it

Install n8n-nodes-jeff from Community Nodes, add a TypeSafe (Jeff) API credential, or import examples/triage-and-guard.workflow.json.

Model judgments from README excerpts

Project signals use repository metadata, an existing summary and the first 700 README characters, not the full project. “Not found” means not detected in that material; it does not establish absence. These are the original judgments with recorded models and dates, not source audits or run results.

Evidence

These signals use repository metadata, an existing summary and at most 700 cleaned README characters. ≥ 0.60 means reported in that excerpt; ≤ 0.40 means not found there. The middle band is inconclusive. None is a source-code audit or a test result. The runnable-tool question excludes research experiments; the recommendation question asks for a learning shortlist, not a quality verdict.
